How the release rules work
Shibuya Sky
Each date goes on sale two weeks before, at midnight Japan time (00:00 JST). For a visit on November 14, 2026, that is 00:00 JST on October 31, which is 11:00 AM Eastern on Friday, October 30. Adult tickets were ¥2,700 before 15:00 and ¥3,400 from 15:00 online on October 13, 2026. Details: Shibuya Sky tickets guide.
Ghibli Museum, Mitaka
Admission is by advance reservation only, and nothing is sold at the museum. Lawson Ticket releases a whole month at 10:00 AM Japan time on the 10th of the month before: tickets for any day in February go on sale at 10:00 JST on January 10. In US time that is the evening of the 9th. Adults (19 and over) were ¥1,000 on October 13, 2026.
teamLab Planets
teamLab does not publish a fixed release date, and there are no tickets at the door. Book on the official store as soon as your dates are fixed, especially for weekends and Japanese holidays. Details: teamLab Planets tickets guide.
